Pobiman will serve as a long term project for Hearts of Oak

Hearts of Oak is making an incursion to be a determine club, they make more progress to make sure they establish the club as an institution. If anything is done then, we must make sure that all is well with the playing body and the technical bench before any development will be strong in the club. Looking at Pobiman, the lasting project was delayed due to Covid 19 pandemic that hit the nation last year.

This made the materials delay if not then the project has been long over due. The fast rising coach Samuel Boadu who joined Hearts of Oak has being given the mandate to ensure that there is more success after this season, if he wins a trophy been it FA Cup or the Premier League. Togbe Afede XIV, has taken the 35 year old as a friend, relative, neighbor and a coach who is going to be with the club for the developmental project of the players.

“Many of you are aware of what is going on at Pobiman, which we expect to be completed by the middle of this year.” Togbe Afede said during the unveiling of new coach Samuel Boadu. The project is nearing it completion which has been confirmed by the club's Communication Director, Kwame Opare Addo. “The project is about 90% complete so if all other things being equal, it could be completed by next month.”

Before the project commences, management of the club are hoping to complete the Pobiman project on time to move the current staff there for work to commence. Togbe Afede said the direction the current board wants to move the club required that they have a befitting edifice that would not only bring in revenue but also enhance the image of the club.

Kotoko on the other side, has tried everything possible with their rich board members to uplift the Adako Jachie project which has been left on tenterhooks. There have been some dispute with the board and management members due to the exercise of power over the work without consultation. I stand to be corrected, if the problem is not from the CEO and Dr. Kwame Kyei with other members. Then money used to rent the apartment for the players can be used at Adako Jachie to finish some part, said a board member.

The board knows nothing about the apartment but kudos to the CEO (Nana Yaw Amponsah), for trying his best to cut some unnecessary cost. The apartments will also house club officials and people assigned for specific duties at any time. Meanwhile, the club has taken delivery of Hisense Sponsorship items worth over GHS200,000. The first batch of items according to the club have been used to furnish players apartments and the second batch for equipping Adako Jachie Training Complex.
