The Black Stars came back stronger in the second game beating South Korea by 3-2 before painfully losing to old foes, Uruguay by 2-0 in the third and final game of group H.
One of the young players to have caught the eyes of the world is Clermont Foot defender, Seidu Alidu.
The young defender is now being targeted by English Premier League club, Leeds United who have been awed by the hard work of the Ghanaian international.
