Check out the 2 matches in the GPL on Saturday

The Matchday 27 action in the ongoing Ghana Premier League, GPL will start on Saturday afternoon with two matches in Sogakope and Techiman.

Leaders Asante Kotoko will be on the road at the Red Bull Arena, Sogakope to confront the might of WAFA whilst Eleven Wonders will be at home at the Ohene Ameyaw Park, Techiman to welcome Accra Great Olympics.

Asante Kotoko will hope to bounce back to winning ways after losing their last two games against RTU and Legon Cities with pressure mountain on the club as they chase the league title.

They will however face a daunting task at Sogakope this afternoon against the academy lads who are deeply involved in the relegation zone.

Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum will be taking his Kotoko side to face his former employers and, he will look to become the first helmsman to guide the Porcupines to a first ever win at the home of WAFA.

Kotoko lead the standing by seven points ahead of this fixture and, they will look to preserve that after this afternoon's encounter.

Coach Ogum will hope his charges will rise to the occasion against the academy lads who can be a handful for visiting teams on their day.

WAFA will certainly make things difficult for Kotoko this afternoon as they chase ambition of their own.

They will look to win this fixture to boost their hopes of avoiding the drop at the end of the campaign.

A side also hoping to avoid the drop is Eleven Wonders who are in the bottom three just like WAFA with eight games to end the season.

They will host Great Olympics this afternoon and, Wonders will look to win this encounter to revive their survival hopes.

Olympics have lost three of their last six matches and, the home side will fancy their chances of getting the three points against a side that is short on confidence at the moment.
