One of Ghana's biggest Sports venues, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium has been completed after almost a year of undergoing the necessary renovation.
The stadium which served as the home grounds of both Kumasi AsanteKotoko and King Faisal was closed down for renovations works to take place forcing these clubs to adopt new venues with Kotoko currently using the Ley Clen Sports Stadium in Obuasi why King Faisal uses the Techiman park for their home games.
The Baba Yara Sports Stadium now has very good and standard green grass together with tartan tracks as Ghana looks forward to hosting the All Africa Games.
Director of the National Sports Authority, Professor Peter Twumasi in a recent interview has revealed that the Stadium will be opened for use next month as all works in the various stands have been completed as well.
Remember, the famous Baba Yara Sports Stadium will also host the various national teams, particularly the Black Stars as it was before it was closed.
