Wolves faced Chelsea at Molineux and were looking forward to ending their worst scoreless run since their promotion into the premier league. They were missing the services of top striker, Raul Jimenez who is recovering from a head injury after taking a knock from David Luiz in their game against Arsenal.
Chelsea made few changes to the team that beat Leeds united with Kovacic replaced with Kai Harvetz.
Olivier Giroud's second half strike gave the blues an early lead in the half. He smashed home a wonderful cross from Ben Chilwell which gave Rio Patricio a lot of trouble before eventually crossing the line.

Wolves are known to be a team that performs extremely well in the second half. A sensational goal from Podence which beat Mendy at his near post gave the home team an equalizer.

The goal activated the home team and gave them the urge to go for the win. After being declined a penalty, Pedro Neto slotted home a wonderful goal after a brilliant run by him. Chelsea remains in 5th position on the league log.
