The Black Stars of Ghana are going to face the Central African Republic in the next fixture of the AFCON Qualifiers after beating Madagascar 3 goals to nil to jump to the top of the group. The head coach and his technical team have excluded Daniel Barnieh and Augustine Okrah who play for Accra Hearts of Oak and Bechem United respectively from the squad going to face the Central African Republic on Sunday. The match will be played in Angola,Luanda. These players have been sent to the Black Stars B team that will be playing the CHAN Qualifiers.

Another player who has been excluded from the squad is Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo. Hearts of Oak defender Dennis Nkrumah who received a late callup will be the only local player in the squad that will be travelling to Angola to play the match. Ghana will be looking for a victory against Central African Republic on order to secure their position at the top.
