I Will Give My All on The Field Next Season - New Karela United Goalkeeper Speaks

Adapting to a new environment and challenge can sometimes or mostly be a daunting task especially when thing don’t go as expected.

However, with focus, determination and a bit of luck, one can settle into his new environment and quickly get affairs running smoothly. That is why experienced Ghana goalkeeper, Rashid Seidu cannot wait to start manning the goal post for Premier League side, Karela United FC. Seidu joined the Anyinase based club from relegated Inter Allies as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with the “Eleven-Is-to-One Boys”

The 25-year-old is expected to compete for the number one spot with Yaw Ansah, Peter Onyame and veteran, Stephen Adams ahead of the 2021/22 league season which is expected to kick off on October 29. Seidu speaks about his readiness to hit the ground running for last season’s 8th place club.

“[I] have always been ready because of the passion and love I have for the game. “And [I] will give everything on the field of play.” Rashid Seidu told How then does it feel getting the chance to play in the Premier League after suffering relegation with Inter Allies last season? The soft spoken goalkeeper sees the opportunity to play top flight football once again with Karela United this time as a welcoming news.“[It] feels like every club I have ever played for. That gratitude within.” Rashid Seidu told

Rashid Seidu has a rich domestic experience having previously turned out for the youth side of Kumasi Asante Kotoko before joining Bechem United. He left Bechem United for Wa All Stars, now Legon Cities FC before signing for Nigerien club, AS Douanes. He returned home to join Inter Allies in 2020 and was pivotal for the Capelli Boys last season where he gathered 24 games but unfortunately could not save his side from relegation. Rashid Seidu was a member of the Ghana National U23 team, the Black Meteors at the Congo Brazzaville “All African Games” in 2015.
