The Black Stars of Ghana failed to reach the round 16 of the 2022 FIFA World Cup after earning just three points from group H.
The Black Stars lost their opening group game against former European champions, Portugal by 3-2 much to the chagrin of the nation.
They put up a stronger performance in their second game against South Korea where they beat the Asians by 3-2 to increase their chances of qualifying for the round 16.

The Black Stars however shocked the entire nation after losing to their old foes, Uruguay by 2-0 to exit the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The elimination makes it two group stage exit in two different World Cups and that is in 2014 and the 2022.
The head coach then, Otto Addo has now stepped away from the job after the expiration of his six months contract.
The news coming in has it that, the current Technical Advisor of the national team, Chris Hughton will be given the job on permanent basis.
