4 WWE Wrestlers That Died In 2021 (Photos)

In memoriam of those wrestling names who have sadly left us this year. While there's still fourth months of the year left as of this writing, 2021 has been a rough, rough year for the professional wrestling industry.


Away from those issues, 2021 is a year that has also sadly seen so many wrestling stars and personalities pass away. Some were huge stars, some maybe weren't the biggest of names, yet all had an impact on the wrestling business in one way or another.


With that in mind, then, here are details of the 4 wrestling names who have tragically left us in 2021 so far.


1. Delbert Wilkes

Del Wilkes, the former pro-wrestler and South Carolina football All-American has died of a heart attack at 59 years old Thursday morning. After a promising college football career at the University of South Carolina in the 1980s, Wilkes was not able to secure a contract in the National Football League.


2) Butch Reed

Whether you knew him as Hacksaw or the Natural, Butch Reed was forever a hugely charismatic, powerful performer.


A star of Mid-South, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW and the then-WWF, the former Intercontinental Champion passed away on 5 February due to complications from two heart attacks.


3) Paul Orndorff

Retiring from the WWE in 2000, he went on to train aspiring wrestlers until 2007. A sixteen-year veteran of the WWE, he was also inducted into the National Wrestling Alliance Hall of Fame for a decade prior.


Orndorff, 71, passed away in Fayetteville, Georgia, two months after being diagnosed with dementia.


4) Bobby Eaton

Bobby Lee Eaton was a former professional wrestler in the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in the United States.


Eaton had a long and successful professional wrestling career, appearing in a large number of wrestling events for various wrestling organizations.


A 40-year veteran of the WWE Hall of Fame, Eaton was also inducted into the PWHOF in 2017. He passed away suddenly at the age of 63 in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States.
