The International Friendly continued this week after taking place for more than a week now. Ghana were tasked to face Qatar. Qatar happens to be where the World Cup 2022 is supposed to be held and they are one of the best team in Asia.
However, they crumbled before Ghana who showed no mercy to them. Ghana was sable to give them an interesting lead and score goals against them. It was an improvement from their game against Mali.
Fosu first scored at the 22nd minute to make it a goal for Ghana. That gave Ghana the lead and boost they needed. It was a really surprising goal from Fosu. The score board read 1-0.
Qatar found a way to equalize at the 44th minute. That was just right before 2nd half and it seems Black Stars were going to lose again to them.
Andrew Ayew scored the second goal for Ghana at the 63rd minute to break the tie .
Owusu scored the 3rd goal for Ghana at the 65th minute.
However, Gideon Mensah faced some critics from Ghanaians on Twitter. They tweeted that he is the weakest link and he likes letting passes to go off. He doesn't know how to secure a ball well.
Another said that he is not good enough and he should not play on the left. Above are pictures of the tweets.
