Luis Suarez the Atlético Madrid and Uruguay international has yet again written his name in the history books of the Spanish la liga.

Luis Suarez was Absolutely outstanding in Atlético Madrid’s draw game against Celta Vigo on Monday 8th,February,2021.

Luis Suarez scored the equalizer for his side after Santi Mina gave Celta Vigo the lead in the 13th minute of the game. He scored his goal in the 45th minute to level things up before the referee blew the whistle for half time.

In the 50th minute of the game Luis Suarez netted another wonder goal to give Atlético Madrid the lead in the game.

In doing so, Luis Suárez has scored 16 goals in his first 17 games for Atlético Madrid in LaLiga, becoming the fastest player to reach 16 goals for the same club in the competition in the 21st century (Cristiano Ronaldo - 15 goals for Real Madrid in 2009/10).

Luis Suarez is now the top scorer of la liga, Surpassing his former teammate Lionel Messi to do so.
