Asante Kotoko Grab Another Top Star to Ahead of Africa

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have augmented their squad ahead of next season’s domestic and continental assignments which start later this year.

The Porcupine Warriors were not at their best last two seasons where they lost the treble to their arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.

The Fabulous club lost the Ghana Premier League title to Accra Hearts of Oak and the MTN FA Cup as well to their fiercest rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak.

The double loss resulted in they losing the Ghana Super Cup to their rivals, Hearts of Oak much to the shock and pain of the club’s supporters.

The Porcupine Warriors are now busy on the transfer market in a bid to sign some players to augment their existing squad.

Asante Kotoko have qualified for the CAF Champions League after winning last season’s Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors have been paired against Burkina Faso champions, Rail Club de Kadiogo for the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Kotoko have announced the signing of a new player from Cameroon to augment their squad, a club statement read.

“We are pleased to announce the signing of versatile Cameroonian defender, 𝐊𝐨𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐣𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐥𝐞̀ on a free transfer for a period of three years.” The club’s statement read on Twitter.
