Van de Beek determined to secure position after positive solskjaer talks.

Donny van de Beek is determined to win place in the Manchester united side after positive talks with ole Gunnar solskjaer- although he admits his time in England has been so hard.

Signed from ajax last September for an initial £34.7million the Netherland midfielder has since found first team football hard to come by.

He has only started four league matches for the Red devils, playing just 1460 minutes of football, fewer than back up defenders Eric Bailly and Alex telles.

Van de Beek's agent suggested there was a chance to join Everton in the transfer window, with united signings of Jason Sancho and christiano Ronaldo further limiting his clients chances of playing, but there was no progress on any possible move away.

Now Van De Beek says manager solskjaer has made it clear he will get his opportunities to impress, even though the 24 year old has yet to get on the pitch for united this season.
