Good News To All Bayern Munich Fans

Another bad thing concerning our wage structure is getting Gini Wijnaldum

It looks like the deal is done. Is not really reported that it's done, but it's such a typical Bayern transfer because: 1) he is free and 2) we are looking for a midfielder. He'd add experience, since he is a veteran and would maybe give Goretzka and Kimmich a rest. Wijnaldum was refused contract extension from Liverpool, and now we are reportedly about to pay him 9-10m euro a season

But is he the one we're looking for?

I don't think he adds any quality it doesn't matter if he is a backup and gives Goretzka/Kimmich rest. He turns 31 this year. At Liverpool he earned 6m - 7m euro and there is no way we have offered him the same amount of money.

And I assure you, for a player like Wijnaldum, of his age, offering him 9-10 mil euro is pretty much very expensive business, despite being it a free transfer. Eventually, other players at Bayern will ask for more money.

While we let Javi Martinez go because obviously he was old, and was on 6m per season salary but again, we replace him with a midfielder 2 years younger than him, (Wijnaldum turns 31 this year) plus being more expensive. I don't really know what to call this.

I know some of you are a fan of this transfer, but I am not a fan of this, at all.

I am still surprised why don't we go for Aurelien Tchouameni for example, I believe he'd cost around 30-40m. He has been immense for Monaco and would literally cost us almost nothing when it comes to the salary.
