Thomas Tuchel has proved to be a Messiah for Chelsea considering the changes he has effected since he started helming the team. The blues began the season with English coach, Frank Lampard at the helm, however the team's erratic form under Lampard meant a managerial change was inevitable.
German tactican, Thomas Tuchel accepted the challenge to get Chelsea back to winning ways and clearly, he has succeeded in fine tuning the team. The blues are currently unbeaten under Tuchel after 12 games and are hoping to achieve a high finish before the season ends.
Thomas Tuchel agreed to replace Lampard on one condition. A condition Chelsea transfer chief, Marina Granovskaia assented as a matter of necessity. Tuchel asked Marina for freedom to choose players who suits his formation without external influence from the club. According to Tuchel, his decision to pick players who suited his philosophy for the club could see marquee signings like Timo Werner and Kai Havertz get benched and didn't want to be questioned on their exclusion.
Apparently, the German tactican has been given the mandate to do what he asked for and it has yielded result. Nonetheless, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech, Tammy Abraham and Emerson Palmeri have all been unexpected victims of Tuchel's decision. Christian Pulisic who was brought in to replace former Chelsea talisman, Eden Hazard has had few minutes under Tuchel.
The German gaffer's preference to allow Oliver Girond or Kai Havertz lead his attack means English prospect, Tammy Abraham would also spend much time on the bench. If the situation remains the same, it likely Pulisic and Tammy Abraham would leave the club. Manchester United and Bayern Munich are reportedly monitoring Pulisic's situation and are prepared to sign him should he leave London.
