Ghana is faced with a pandemic since March last year. Since then, the cases keep increasing rapidly. However there have been measures put in place to ensure the safety of Ghanaians only if we follow these protocols.
The recent increase in the death of covid 19 is very alarming. The Ghana health service indicated that the death cases of the virus has increased from 763 to 771. That means that eight more persons have died. Ghana recorded 46 new cases recently. The current active case in the country stands at 1,334.
This means the country's total confirmed cases since the pandemic began stands at 91,709 out of which 89,694 have recovered or have been discharged.
Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, Eastern and Western are the topmost hotspot areas in the country. Greater has the most active cases in the country. Please let us all wear the nose mask at all times. The Ghana Health Service urges all Ghanaians to adhere strictly to the protocols of the Corona Virus to ensure our safety.
