Abiba, a professional hairstylist was sent to Qatar to style the Black Stars players.
Rumours were spreading as birds fly out in the morning about the Black Stars sending a hairstylist to the FIFA World Cup. Many people did not believe it initially until pictures came out to prove it. Here is she captured in a picture with defender Mohammed Salisu.
The question many Ghanaians were asking was how many Ghanaian players or technical team members needed a hair do hence the reason for the hairstylist?
Many also claim it served as a distraction and was one of the reasons for our players' abysmal performance during the FIFA World Cup. They focused more on watching the lady than focus on the match.
The team's chief drummer, Langabel came out to say in an interview that anytime Abiba came to the team hotel, the team lose a match because she distracted the players.
