Ghana Premier League Club Cries Over Tough Challenges

Head Coach of Real Tamale United, Shaibu Tanko, has cited his side’s challenges for poor run in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.

Tanko, believes if the club receives financial support, it will help curb the club’s misfortune and promote adequate strength for league success in subsequent years.

“Actually, RTU is having a serious challenge in terms of finances. If we are well structured and well financed, I think RTU will be a third force in Ghana football”.

“We have not struggled, if we had struggled we couldn’t have gotten to this far.

We were having challenges and the challenges were that we could not win our home matches.

Tanko, talked tough on RTU’s potential for future threat.

“We only lost one match in Tamale against Medeama, 8 solid matches draw, so consider that we have won those matches”.

“We’ve drawn 8 home matches, 8 solid matches in Tamale. So out of 24 points, we only had 8points.

16 points had been thrown overboard, we could have been second or third.

That tells you that this is a strong team ,is not a joke

We are strong force, except that like I mentioned earlier on that, goals eluded us to win our matches in Tamale”.
