It was a really tough match despite Chelsea had a good opening. Werner netted in the first goal right at the 2nd minute to make it 1 - 0. However, an equalizer came from Leonel at the 38th minute.
Werner again scored his brace at the 85th minute to give Chelsea the lead. Sadly, Zenit equalized at the 90 + 4 minute making Chelsea finish second place on the table although they disciplined Juventus. Juventus finished first though.
The whole show was interesting and Chelsea fans even called Timo Werner and Lukaku "comedians" because a combination of them has never produced a result like this. They did well though but it was enough to give them the win. It was funny and lovely duo gameplay.
Another reason why they are comedians is because they were doing "first touch" with the ball. Though Chelsea was a bit rusty, yet they didn't lose.
