Former Asante Kotoko Physical trainer, Leonard Akoto says he is not surprised about Prosper Narteh Ogum’s resignation.
Prosper Narteh called time on his coachin career with the Porcupine Warriors after guiding them to the league title last season.
Akoto who worked under Maxwell Konadu spoke on yesterday’s edition of the Gold TalkSport.
“I wasn’t surprised as well and I will says coach Prosper Narteh is a coach who endures a lot.
“He is also a professional, a teacher and a psychologist so I don’t think pressure can let him resign.
“Sometimes if you are working with people who are professionals and they themselves say they are professionals and things don’t go in a professional way, you always feel bad.
“Because you are doing something professional and they don’t do their things as they claim they are professionals.
“And aside that when you are working with people, you have to open up to each other so I wasn’t surprised at all.” Leonard Akoto told Radio Gold Sports.
Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana at 2022/23 CAF Champions League after claiming the Ghana Premier League last season.
