The 21-year-old has signed for the Algerian outfit from Asante Kotoko following a brief yet outstanding performance in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
Poku joined Kotoko from first division club, Nkoranza Warriors and so far notched seven goals prior to his departure.
He played his last game for the Porcupine Warriors against Kumasi King Faisal but could not find the back of the net where Kotoko won 1-0.
His 3-year contract is expected to keep him at USM Alger until 2024 season.
Kwame Poku Tweeted:
His goals have been key to Kotoko who lie 3rd on the league table.
They have 27 points from 16 matches with an outstanding game against Bechem United which has been rescheduled to April 7 from the initial Thursday February 25 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Ghana Premier League games for the second round have been postponed to April.
The postponement was due to Black Stars 2021 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa and São Tome.
It will enable Coach Charles Akonnor more time to prepare for the impending assignment.
