Despite Leicester City’s Coach, Brendan Rodgers confirming to the media that Wesley Fofana is not available for transfer this season, Chelsea are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for the young French defender.
Having signed a long contract with Leicester City in the closing stages of last season, the defender is reported to have interest in playing for a Champions League club but will not force a move should the club decide otherwise.

Chelsea have already seen their first offer for the defender rejected but will soon submit another bid which could include a player from Chelsea. Leicester City are holding out for 80-85 million pounds to release the player.
Fofana has been rated as one of the brightest and talented centre backs and with Coach Thomas Tuchel having missed out on the signing of Jules Kounde, Fofana remains one of the names on his list of potential defenders to replace the out-gone Christensen and Rudiger.
