Chelsea are the latest Premier League club to express an interest in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez, and they will offer Romelu Lukaku in exchange.
Martinez, 25, is one of Europe's most sought-after attackers after scoring 81 goals in 197 games for Inter since joining in 2018.
He has started the current season similarly, scoring six goals in 11 Serie A appearances.
Martinez has piqued the interest of the English Premier League in recent years, with Inter Live suggesting that the Blues have now put their name in the hat.
With Lukaku presently on loan at Inter, the West Londoners will include the possibility of permanently signing the Belgian in their pursuit of striking partner Martinez.
Todd Boehly and company hope to set them apart from Premier League opponents such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Newcastle.
The 40-cap international, with 21 goals for his country, is now under contract with the Italian giants until 2026.
They value their No. 10, which Spurs reportedly offered at the start of last season, at roughly £77 million.
