Our weekends are never complete without football. Our expectations prior to the games poise us to go through the week successfully. A lot of matches were played with so many dramas. Some managers perform well, others destroy our entire weekend. Who earns your worst manager for the weekend?
Ronald Koeman was always going to be a nominee. If there is one thing that has been consistent in his job, it's his tactical myopia. Week-in week-out, the manager continues to prove the Barcelona work is way above his level. Looking at the score line, one might think the Catalans wasn't bad in the El-Clasico encounter. Just watch the game again and Koeman may win your vote for the title.
Fans would never forgive me if Ole Gunnar didn't make the list of contenders. Ole at the wheel had a terrible accident at the Old Trafford yesterday. Jurgen Klopp took Liverpool to the Theatre Of Dreams, humiliated the landlords and came out without a single scratch. It is a game no Manchester United fans would want to relive ever again. After such a defeat, does he qualify as your worst manager for the week?
Not only in Europe did we witness humiliating results. Elsewhere in Morocco, Accra Hearts of Oak received the shock of their lives as WAC wiped them 6-1 in the second leg of their CAF Champions League encounter. The Ghanaian club won the first leg at home by a lone goal. The African giants WAC proved their worth with a scintillating performance. Samuel Boadu, Head Coach for Hearts, seemed clueless during the match. His tactic was poor, the team played very bad, and Ghana got disgraced again on the international front.
Among these three coaches, who spoilt your weekend mood? Share your answers in the comment section.
