Ghana forward, Samuel Tetteh has indicated that his new club, St. Polten will help him regain his form.
The 24-year-old joined the Austrian Bundesliga side on loan for the rest of the season from parent club, Red Bull Salzburg.
Tetteh has since made two appearances all from the substitute bench and he believes the club will help him regain his lost form.
“The reason why I joined St. Polten is because they are doing well in the league.
“They play good football and at this point of my career, St. Polten is going to help me a lot, I want to develop as a player and keep playing.
“St. Polten is a stepping stone for me in my career to regain my form back and also help the club achieve its goals and also they can also help me achieve my goals.” Samuel Tetteh told Adamu Muftawu.
Speaking about why he decided to join St. Polten after his loan spell at USL side, New York Red Bulls, the former WAFA forward believes he needed a new challenge to get more playing time.
“It’s very important for me to regain my form because last season things didn’t go well for me in New York as planned.
“I think St Polten can help my career now that I need to regain my form.
“Now I’m going to get some minutes and get the playing time I want and I think they will help me a lot in my career so let’s see how it goes.” Samuel Tetteh added.
Tetteh has previously played on loan for another Austrian side, LASK LINZ where he had the best outing.
St. Polten are currently lying 8th on the league table with 16 points after 15 matches.
