The Champions League group stage draw is one of the most anticipated events in European football, as fans from all over the continent learn who they will be facing throughout the autumn and winter months. With the fans back in the stands, it's time to start thinking about some exotic away days.
The draw will be held on Thursday at 18:00 CEST, which is 16:00 GMT, in Istanbul.
The actual choosing of the balls will take place later, after the UEFA ceremony is completed, as is customary for the event.
The draw is held earlier than usual, as it is usually held on Friday or Monday after we have determined which teams have advanced to the next round of the competition.
This year's Champions League features 32 fascinating teams, who will be divided into eight groups of four based on seedings, with no two clubs from the same country allowed to clash at this round.
The following are the four pots for the draw:
Port 1: Chelsea, Villareal, Athletico Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Lille and Sporting CP.
Port 2: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United, Paris Saint German, Liverpool, Sevilla and Borrusia Dortmund.
Port 3: Porto, Ajax, Shaktar Donetsk, RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, Benfica, Atalanta and Zenit St Petersburg.
Port 4: Besiktas, Dynamo Kyiv, Club Brugge, Young Boys, AC Milan, Malmo, Wolfsburg and Sheriff Tiraspol.
