Accra Hearts of oak football club have announce the interim coach Samuel Nii Noi will lead the team as they play their 15th league match against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday, 21st February,2021.
In a press statement released by the club stated that: "Following the resignation of our Head Coach, Kosta Papic, coach Samuel Nii Noi will lead our team against Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday in the week-15 fixture of the Ghana Premier League competition at the Accra Sports Stadium. A substantive coach will be announced in due course ".
"Former Hearts defender, Ben Adjei will sit in as Team Welfare Officer for the indisposed Sylvester Nii Sabhan Quaye , who is on a two - week medical excuse duty" .
"Recent happenings have brought to light a lot of mischief that has been perpetrated against the club, sometimes from within, over the years . The board is therefore taking steps to fully restructure the technical team and thus urging all Phobians to remain calm and cooperative whilst we work to bring in competent replacement to fill in the vacant positions in the technical team" .
Hearts of oak over the years have suffered technical challenges and have resulted in the inability of club to win trophies in the last decades as well as participating in the continental competitions.
