Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Oak have completed the signing of Elmina Sharks goalkeeper Richard Attah footballmadeinghana.com understands. The goalkeeper penned a three-year contract with the club after leaving his former club on a free transfer. He becomes the third player to signed for the Phobians after Dominic Eshun and Benjamin Arthur ahead of the new season. Attah was outstanding for Elmina sharks in the the just ended Normalization Committee tier one competitions keeping an impressive eight cleansheet in eleven games. He replace Ernest Sowah who was sacked by the club few weeks ago. This was disclosed by the agent of the midfielder, Gerald Baloyi in an interview.
Baloyi revealed that already negotiations have sparked for the services of the player who is under contract with Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama Sporting Club.
The PSL has witness a lot of Ghanaian players to play their trait there. The league becoming the top notch in the Continent now. There have been the Black Stars goalkeeper at Maritzburg FC in the the South African League who has prove to be outstanding in his position and the league as well. If Hearts of Oak wants to maintain the keeper then there must be a much better deal to keep him for the coach of the side. “Chippa United is interested in Eric Kwakwa-the holding midfielder from Medeama SC from Ghana. Baroka is also interested in the player and I can confirm that the club has joined the race for his signature. There is a lot of interest in the player and we are in negotiations,” Baloyi told KickOff. Eric Kwakwa is under contract with Medeama SC after signing a two-year deal with the club in October 2019 following the expiration of his initial four years contract. He went on loan at Icelandic side Vikingur Olafsvik in 2017 and willing to get enough playing time at Medeama when the league season start.
