Medeama forward, Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah has promised to deepen the setback Kotoko suffered at home to Berekum Chelsea.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 1-0 in week 30 to the former Champions at the Baba Yara Stadium to reduce their lead to six points above Medeama. Kotoko travel to Tarkwa as guests of the Mauve and Yellow and Asamoah has set sight on adding salt to Porcupine Warriors’ injury.

“You are saying they are under pressure but we don’t care about that. “We are playing the league and the one who tops the league wins the league, that is our mentality to go on top of the league. “So we don’t even care whether they are struggling or not.

“We are on our lane preparing to beat them and then go up to the top or catch up the points. “So we don’t care about what they are doing. “Ours is to focus and win the remaining matches.” Godfred Kwadwo Asamoah told Radio Gold TalkSport.
