The Yellow and Mauves are chasing a first ever GPL title having won the FA Cup twice already since they joined the Elite Division.
Going into their Matchday 21 game with Karela United tomorrow afternoon at Anyinase, the Tarkwa-based side has scored 12 goals from the 20 matches they have played in the ongoing 2021-22 season.
These goals scored, has seen them record nine wins, five drawn games with six defeats in those 20 matches.
Burkina Faso international Amed Toure is the leading marksman for Medeama SC so far this season with three goals; efforts that has seen the team earn 32 points for their troubles.
Medeama SC are fifth on the GPL table with those 32 points gained, and, they will look to defend that position at the CAM Park, Anyinase tomorrow when they play away to Karela United.
Victory in this regional derby will take Medeama SC to third on the log ahead of the rest of the Matchday 21 action which will be played on Sunday and Monday.
However, this will be a tough task for the Yellow and Mauves to negotiate as Karela United are very formidable at home on any occasion, and, it will be interesting to see how they handle this one as they compete for the three points at stake.
