The dream of the management of Asante Kotoko FC to get a befitting and ultra modern facility for the club seems to be far but this currently crop of board of directors coupled with the management headed by Nana Yaw Amponsah are poised to make the dreams come true.
According to a reliable source of information gathered by Oyerepa sports , Asante Kotoko are likely to have an 8,000 capacity stands in the second phase of the on going development project at Adako Jachie, the training venue for the club.
If you could recall during the appointment of the current board of directors by the live patron of the club ,His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu some where last year, the King charged the directors together with heir management team to raised Asante Kotoko to a standard both on the field and infrastructures to match the elite clubs in Africa.
The first phase of Adako Jachie project
With barely one year into their appointment , the off field development is going on steadily with the first phase of the project that will house the activities of the management, the playing body and the youth team almost completed.
Meanwhile the second phase which will have a swimming pool, Astro turf, Golf park and the 8,000 seater capacity stands will kick start when the first phase is fully completed.
Also one of the die hard supporters of the club, Mr Kwame Adu Gyamfi is organizing fund raising to support the management to achieve the dream in diverse ways such as Gym, fans bleacher etc
