Football Legends that were never sent off

Being sent off is part of the beautiful game, as it is very rare to see football legends playing hundreds of games without being sent off. But that’s not impossible, as certain footballers played their career without being sent off. Take a look at just five of them;

1- Philip Lahm. Notable for his playing days at Bayern Munich, Philip Lahm was a very decent player. Lahm accumulated 765 games in his career and got yellow carded only 60 times. But for a red card, he received none. Very Impressive.

2- Raul Gonzalez. One of the greatest Spanish players of all time, Raul was loved by all. As a legendary Madrid player, he played over thousand games(1069 to be precise) and got carded only 49 times in the process. Interestingly, he was never sent off.

3- Andres Iniesta. Arguably the greatest Spanish player of all time, Andres Iniesta was a fans favorite. As a Barca legend, he was carded 69 times in 903 games. Unsurprisingly, Iniesta was never sent off. Not retired though, but the probability that he’ll be sent off still seems low.

4- Herman Crespo. Now let’s talk about Herman Crespo, another legendary player. Crespo managed only 23 yellow cards in his career, accumulating 604 games. Crespo and Red Cards never met.

5- Michel Platini. A Balon Dor winner as he’d be remembered for, Michel Platini was never sent off as he was a decent player. He played 389 games and got only 9 yellow cards. Very surprising indeed.

The list continues, but let’s end here for now. We’d definitely come your way with other updates as well. Make sure you follow me so you don’t miss our updates.
