The Ghanaian legend Sulley Muntari produced another purposeful display in the middle of the park for the rainbow boys this evening. Hearts returned to winning ways as they humbled Ashanti Gold. Afriyie Barnieh scored a brace to deliver all the 3 points for the phobians. Hearts opened the scoring through Barnieh but Ashgold fought back to score the equaliser before the end of the first half.
Muntari played a crucial role for the winning goal. He layed on a beautiful pass to Kofi Kordzi who then set up Barnieh to rifle a thunderbolt into the roof of the net for the winning goal. Muntari has been a revelation in the phobian midfield. Anytime he is on the field of play, he always delivers. He is performing that role of a motivator very well. His services were dearly missed in Dormaa as Hearts succumbed to the fire boys. This win will breath some life back into their campaign. They must capitalise on this momentum to save their season.
