The Black Stars has secured qualification into the 2021 African Cup of Nations at Cameroun next year. Mohammed Kudus put the Stars in front in the second half after spiritless first half. South African speedster Percy Tau equalised few minutes after the lead. The two teams had to settle for the 1 all draw. Winning the Afcon has been the ultimate target for the Black Stars of Ghana since they last win the tournament back in 1982.
Ghana has gotten so close on several occasions but has time and again failed to win it.
The team is not in its better stage now as compared to few years ago. The coach is looking to rebuild the team by merging the old generation and the up and coming young players. That is good but it takes time and that is a commodity Ghanaians cannot afford.
The mindset of Ghanaians are all about win, win, win. Whenever you lose you must go.
But kudos to Coach C K Akonnor and his men for the results
