The 2022/23 National Division One League (DOL), commenced this afternoon at the Tema Sports Stadium with a game in Zone Three.
Attram de Visser and Rences FC, drew one all in a keenly contested affair as they shred the spoils in the Harbour City.
Rences FC, took a 1-0 half time lead in this local derby, but, the home side came out strongly in the second session and deservedly got the equalizer as the points were shared.
Rences FC's Wise Borteye Jiemsa, won the Most Valuable Player, (MVP) award in this evenly contested affair.
The two sides will look to build on this performance going into the rest of the campaign, as they chase promotion to the topflight league next season.
The rest of the opening game fixtures will be played on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, in all three zones nationwide as 48 clubs scramble for promotion to the first tier league next season.
