The Blues defender is being heavily linked with a Stamford Bridge exit this summer but he has insisted he doesn't care about transfer speculation right now Chelsea full-back Emerson is not interested in talking about a move away from Stamford Bridge right now.

The 26-year-old has featured 70 times in all competitions for the Blues since arriving at the west London club from Roma in January 2018.

The Blues defender has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer, but he has stated that he is unconcerned about transfer rumours at the moment. Emerson is not interested in discussing a move away from Stamford Bridge at the moment.

Since joining the Blues from Roma in January 2018, the 26-year-old has made 70 appearances in all competitions for the west London club.

Thomas Tuchel prefers Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso for his left-back position, so Emerson's return appears to be a long way off.

The Italy international's contract in London expires in just over a year, and he's been linked with a move back to his homeland, to Serie A champions Inter Milan.

There has been a lot of speculation about his future, and it appears that the forgotten Blues player is getting tired of it.

“We've been talking about the market and my return to Italy for months. Emerson told Sport Witness, "Now I don't even want to think about it."

“It doesn't matter to me; I live in the present, play in the European Championship, and do everything I can to win it.”

According to Sky Sports Italia, there looks to be a stumbling block in Inter's pursuit of Emerson, and it comes from Chelsea.

According to the report, the Blues are demanding £17.2 million (€20 million) for their full-back, a fee that Milan is currently refusing to pay.

Napoli has also been linked with Emerson in the past, but Inter are currently the front-runners, according to reports. Inter have recently appointed a new manager, Simone Inzaghi, who may change Inter's mind about Emerson in the future.
