Peter Drury at it again doing what he does best during Manchester City title-winning game.

This is a man you can't grow tired of when listening to him. He has absolute control of the English language. He just knows what to say at every point in time. He is an absolute beast in the commentary box. He has proven times without number that he has no match in the commentary box. His incorporation of literature into his commentary is just impeccable. He seems to always find the perfect words for the awestrucking moments.

During the Manchester City title-winning game against Aston Villa, he served us with one of his poetic masterpieces when Ilkay Gundogan scored the winning goal for the Etihad outfit. He went like this. "GUNDOGAN! From the brink of despair... elation! From catastrophe, cacophonic joy! The stuff of stellar champions. That's why City are a sensation." It was just the perfect wording for that sensational goal by Gundogan. This man is a poetic legend. He ought to be studied in schools just like the Great William Shakespeare.
