Sadiq Abu set for Hearts of Oak CEO job.

Football administration in this country has not been the best. Football clubs are run without any proper structures in place. That is why clubs in Ghana can't compete with their counterparts in South Africa and the northern African countries. Hearts of Oak have operated for the last 3 years without a chief executive officer. Per a revelation by sports Obama on Angel TV this morning, there is no administrative structure at the club.

But things are set to change. The club is on the verge of appointing Sadiq Abu, the CEO of 3music as the substantive CEO of the club. This is according to information gathered from credible sources. After an underwhelming season at the end of the 2021/22 football campaign, the board of the club is looking to get some things straight. One of the many things that have come after closed-door meetings are the need to put structures in place for the day-to-day running of the club.

The appointment of a CEO hopefully will be the beginning of many things to come and that will help transform Hearts into the football powerhouse they are supposed to be.
