Pep Guardiola has changed the English football landscape since he arrived. He has left a footprint too obvious to be ignored. Not only is he influencing the style of play but also winning trophies and developing talents alongside. He has transformed Rahim Sterling to a good finisher. When Cancelo came to the Etihad stadium, he was just an ordinary footballer. Within a few months under the tutelage of Guardiola, he has been transformed into a world class full back who can play at either side of defence and also on the wings when needed. You can also look at the development of Phil Foden.
Pep always pay attention to details. He always makes sure he acquired the right players he wanted to play the type of football he desires. He did that at all the clubs he has managed. He specifically requested for Thiago Alcantara when he was at Bayern Munich. He has achieved all there is to achieve in English football. The only dent I see on his Manchester City career is his handling of Sergio Aguero. Aside that he has an impeccable record.
The only trophy elusive at the Etihad is the champions league and that is also within reach this season. If he is able to deliver the treble this season, he would have cemented an already great legacy at the Etihad stadium.
