Highly rated midfielder for a top-notch club in Ghana returns to full training with his club

Abdul-Aziz Nurudeen who was born on 11th September, 1998 is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ghanaian Premier League side Accra Hearts of Oak. He is one of the young and aggressive midfielders for the club. His composure and calmness in the game is pleasing to the coaching staffs, fans and teammates.

Nurudeen started his career with Ajax Academy previously located at Legon. He was teammates before moving to Ghana Division One League side Vision FC.He was a member of the Ghana national U23 football team in 2019.In November 2019, he was selected to be part of the Ghana National U23 football team ahead of the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations in Egypt.He featured in two matches during the tournament.

In January 2020, he signed for Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2019-20 Ghana Premier league season.He made his debut on 15 January 2020 in goalless draw against West African Football Club Academy (WAFA). He featured for the phobians in just four matches before the league was annulled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemics.

The 22 year old has returned to training for the first time after over two months in the treatment room.He has been out of action since 7 February 2021 where he featured against Legon Cities FC in the league.During his time on the sidelines, Nurudeen has missed up to eight premiership matches.

Nurudeen has made 7 appearances in the Ghana Premier League this season and his availability will be a good addition to the Phobians squad.
