The 2021/2022 Spanish La Liga season has seen lots of exciting fixtures between the 20 clubs. All clubs are doing their possible best to secure the 3-maximum points from each league game. Matchweek 8 was played during the weekend.
The Matchweek had some exciting fixtures and some of the games fans looked up to was that of Real Madrid vs. RCD Espanyol and Atletico Madrid vs. FC Barcelona. Both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona lost their respective games with Real Madrid losing by 2 goals to 1 and Barcelona 2:0.
Real Madrid are still at the top of the league even though it lost its game. Barcelona, on the other hand is at the 9th position on the league table but Barcelona has a game in hand.

From the table, it looks like Real Madrid has a look of work to do when it comes to its defensive setup after conceding 10 goals in 8 league games. It is also very tight at the top as there are three teams with 17 points -separated by goal difference.
