Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has made a flying start to his career in Serbia. He was on the scoresheet for his club in the Serbian league opener over the weekend. He gave an impressive performance on his debut for the club. His contribution was good. The Ghana international, signed during the summer transfer window, was named in the starting line-up and he was just the spark they needed. His side Red Star Belgrade thumped Radnicki Nis by 4 goals to nil.
He joined the Serbian side from the Belgian side Gent for a reported 2 million euros. He was on loan at French Ligue 1 side Nantes which helped them to win the French cup title. He will be hoping that his impressive start in Serbia will continue so that he will earn a place in the black stars squad for the upcoming world cup in Qatar later this year.
I wish him the very best. We want to see consistent good performances from him. It's always good when we have most of our national team players playing in some of the top European leagues.
