Ghana Premier League, (GPL), champions Asante Kotoko will gather in Accra from tomorrow as they begin their preparations for next season.
Kotoko will travel to Turkey next week to train some as the new season approaches with the club looking to get in shape for the defence of their GPL title and the campaign in the knock out competition.
Asante Kotoko will also play in the CAF Champions League competition next season, the draw of which will be held in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday.
The players will be taken through their paces by their technical team members with the Porcupines set to name a new head coach following the departure of Prosper Nartey Ogum.
During their stay in Turkey, Asante Kotoko will play among others Nigerian champions Rivers United in a high profile pre-season friendly on August 28.
They will return to Ghana on August 30 for a final shape up for the start of the new campaign in September.
On September 4, Asante Kotoko will take on their arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in the Super Cup contest at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
The Phobians won the FA Cup competition last season and, they will represent Ghana in the CAF Confederation Cup competition next season.
