Check out the Most Consistent Ghanaian Player in the EPL this season.

The English Premier League (EPL) is arguably the best league in the world. It features several world class football players including Ghanaian players. A host of renowned players from the West African country have played in the league with the likes of Tony Yeboah, Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Kelvin Prince Boateng, John Mensah, Asamoah Gyan, John Paintsl, Richard Kingston among others have played for various clubs in the league.

Currently, Ghana can boast of five of their national team assets in the league. Jordan Ayew (Crystal Palace), Jeffrey Schlupp (Crystal Palace), Daniel Armatey (Leicester City), Mohammed Salisu ( Southampton) and Thomas Teye Partey ( Arsenal) are the five Ghanaian players in the league. All but Mohammed Salisu have had game time for their respective clubs. Salisu is yet to play a game in the league for Southampton after making £9 million move to the club during the summer transfer window.

However, Crystal Palace winger, Jeffrey Schlupp, has been the most consistent player so far this season among the five. The speedster has featured for the South London based club 14 times this season, the highest number by any Ghanaian in the league. He has scored and assisted once in the 942 minutes game time played in those 14 appearances.

Here are the appearances made by all five Ghanaian players in the EPL after match day 16:

Jeffrey Schlupp - 14 appearances

Jordan Ayew - 12 appearances

Thomas Teye Partey - 5 appearances

Daniel Armatey - 4 appearances

Mohammed Salisu - 0
