League leaders and the only team with a 100% win ratio in the Ghana Premier League increased their preparations for their next game against Karela United with a convincing win against Kenpong Football Academy by 5 goals to Nil.
Kenpong Football Academy is managed by former coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah but his team was not strong enough to match the abilities of the Ghana Premier League leaders. Because the pitch of Karela United is an Astroturf, Kotoko showed their preparation level by playing on an astroturf in this friendly game.
With two players missing from Kotoko’s team due to suspension of Mudasiru and an injury suffered by Richmond Lamptey in their game against Eleven wonders, Kotoko still looked like a strong side.
Currently Kotoko also has a 100% win rate against Karela United as they beat them both home and away last season. There is hope that this win run continues and the porcupine warriors extend their unbeaten run against Karela United and also in the premier league.
