When the Nsoatreman Football Club returned to their Nsoatre home base on Friday after beating Tamale City FC to qualify for the Ghana Premier League (GPL), the team was greeted with a massive welcome in Sunyani.
Recall that on Tuesday, the team defeated Tamale City FC 2-1 at the Accra Sports to clinch qualifying for the GPL in their Division One, Zone One match-decider.
In the midst of brass band music, motorbike horn tooting, and traffic congestion on Sunyani's main street, fans on motorbikes, private saloon cars, and commercial vehicles led the players, the technical team, and management members on an open long truck towards Nsoatre in the Sunyani West Municipality.
We pray and hope that their good performance in the Division One will be exibited in the Ghana Premier League when it commence.
