South Africa coach, Broos vows to beat Ghana Black Stars

Head coach of South Africa, Hugo Broos says his side is capable of beating the Black Stars of Ghana.

Broos was named the Bafana Bafana trainer following the departure of local man, Molefi Ntseki.

The Belgian trainer has been given the target to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup following Ntseki’s failure to secure a spot at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon next year.

South Africa alongside Ghana, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe are in Group G of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The qualifiers has moved to September from its original June schedule.

Hugo Broos is confident of beating the Black Stars to qualify for the World Cup.

“I know Ghana very well, Zimbabwe is a dangerous opponent and Ethiopia.

“I think Ethiopia was in the group of Egypt, every team can be beaten but its not a guarantee that because I know how to beat Ghana so we can beat Ghana again.

“Secondly we have to be ready for that and we have enough work to do to be ready for that.

“And we will see in September if South Africa will be ready to beat Ghana but why not?” Hugo Broos said.

Broos won the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon in Gabon.

He has handled teams like, Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Genk (Belgium), Trabzonspor (Turkey) and JS Kabylie and NA Dey (Algeria).
