How Would You Rate Kotoko Recruitment So Far?

After the season's disappointment, Kotoko fans were very hopeful the transfer window would bring them peace. It took longer than expected before the team announced their first signing, but this transfer season has been successful. I think the recruitment is the best ever in the history of Asante Kotoko.

It will interest you to know Kotoko, for the first time in history, went to the transfer market with its own muscle. We all know Ghana clubs follow no Financial Fair Play, but for a team to live within its means and still secure the services of all these quality signings, no other recruitment beats it.

Kotoko does not have a Youth team. However, the new players were picked spot on to reinforce every department of the playing body. The blend of the experienced ones with the young, promising talents shows how the club has evolved to meet modern trends. The focus was much on the long-term project. For miraculous reasons, none of the youngsters' quality has been questioned. All that is left is the confidence and massive support to excel. Here are all the signings the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led Management has signed.

Augustine Amponsah

Richmond Lamptey

Clinton Opoku

Sheriff Mohammed

Samuel Boateng

Maxwell Agyemang

Richard Boadu

Samuel Appiah

Isaac Oppong

Stephen Amankona

Mefegue Georges Omgba

Frank Mbella Etouga Thierry

Even though the season is yet to start, I have full believe Kotoko's new direction for recruitment will take them places in global football.
