Today, several teams were in action in the Ghana Premier League. The fight for the league’s top spot is becoming keener every gameweek. Fans are always eager to see the progress of their favourite club in the Premier League. Some teams are up to the task while others are still struggling to accumulate points which is necessary if they want to be part of the league next season. After today’s fixtures there were slight changes in the GPL table. Hearts of Oak climbed to the 6th position on the league table after the Phobians recorded an emphatic 4:1 victory over Eleven Wonders. Hearts of Oak are 7 points away from the top spot and has an outstanding game. Real Tamale United and Ashanti Gold bettered their positions on the league table after they won their respective games. Conversely, Accra Great Olympics failed to climb up the table – dropped to the 7th position.
The arrangement at the top of the table remains unchanged – Kotoko, Aduana Stars and King Faisals are at their usual 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions. WAFA, Eleven Wonders and Elmina are still battling it out in the relegation zone. Check below for the GPL table after today’s games:
