Famous World Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo Has Just Tested Positive To Coronavirus (Details).

Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive for coronavirus and has been sent home from international duty to self-isolate. Ronaldo who is one of soccer’s biggest stars and among the world’s most famous athletes, has tested positive for the coronavirus. Portugal’s soccer federation said Ronaldo was displaying certain symptoms and was in isolation. The news came as a shock to football fans around the world.

After Cristiano Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19 he was told to leave the Portugal squad in order for him to be properly attended to and isolate. Playing international football when Covid rates are surging is recklessly misguided and puts players at incredible risk.

Ronaldo had earlier played in the 0-0 draw at France in the Nations League on Sunday, and also in the 0-0 draw against Spain in a national friendly last week and at this time, did not exhibit any sign of the virus until yesterday when he was tested. Two other Portugal players had tested positive for COVID-19 recently, José Fonte and Anthony Lopes.

Ronaldo is in isolation and has been dropped from the country’s Nations League match against Sweden on Wednesday in Lisbon. Cristiano Ronaldo must now self-isolate until at least October 23. Meanwhile Juventus play Barcelona in the UEFA champions league on October 28.

We wish him a speedy recovery. Amen!!
